Papa–A classic bibliophile, straight-forward, witty and humble, ever curious to try new things in life. He was a disciplinarian, sharply dressed, punctual and a routineer. He was an early-riser who would never miss his walks. His love for nature and organic farming was much visible on our terrace and balcony. And, of course, how can we forget his profound love for tea and coffee, given an opportunity he would not hesitate to buy the most expensive ones but our mom kept him in check.

He was definitely beyond his time. When everyone was hesitant to move jobs from traditional engineering to computers, he was keen to take it. Even Amazon knows his love for technology. His couriers would come almost everyday much to the dismay of our mom. It was amazing to see his excitement to try new tech products. One such thing was his Leica and hence his passion for photography, along with many other finer things in life—from sweets to spicy mutton, from local jalebi to fine dining and so on.

He has touched many lives and he will be dearly missed by all–especially by his granddaughter-Saanvi. Words are not enough to describe what we feel for him. We will always miss papa!

Dear Sheelbhadra Fufaji. 🙏 Sitting miles away we can still see your face radiant glow, the crisply dressed attire, the books stacked everywhere, Hindu fluttering and strayed on the study table with a backdrop music on, Fua in the kitchen brewing the tea. Those plants looking up the terrace, the swag of your walk and the twirled moustache, the tic tock of the winding watch, that half sleeve shirt smartly swaying over those dark trousers...
...Now as you transit a well lived life, we are more than sure that Gods are riding along side. In retrospection, we may say it is too early or too soon but this is how God wanted to play ; always in need of good people along his side. The void that has been created shall never be filled but we were lucky and blessed to associate with you in all the roles that you performed. The tranquility of your transition I am sure will be in peace, and reality remains that between the two partners one has to leave early. And to this, remains the God's choice.
Dear fufa ji as you sign off It reminds me of those famous lines by William Blake "I am the master of the destiny , I am the captain of my soul" ....Which you always were Bhagwat Gita: says Na bhavithaa na bhooyah: ajo nithyah saasvato'yam puraano na hanyate' hanyamaane' sareere' The Spirit is neither born nor does it die at any time. It does not come into being or cease to exist. It is unborn, eternal, permanent, and primeval. The Spirit is not destroyed when the body is destroyed. You'll be remembered. In our thoughts. In each of our lives... Forever. Om Shanti🙏

He was my great Bhaiya.
He was present in very important events of my life. His simplicity was beyond words. He was gem. He will be always in our memory.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

He was the only one in the family whom I could trust and discuss my problems. He was the only one who helped me and my family in my absence. No one else offered me any help except him. A very simple man with no bad habits . I have lost my friend colligue and a person with whom I could discuss my problems.

Beautiful photos, loved all..will always cherish the little time we spent with uncle. Enjoyed having a conversation with him. His wise words, pleasing personality, knowledge on everything, and wit are invaluable. I am sure all kids love him and his company including mine..May he keeps smiling as always wherever he is… and share the same happiness.TC.

He was my eldest Bhiya. I am going to miss him. My every visit I spend hours with him and get blessing . I also enjoy lunch with him and Bhabhi. His life style and personality reflect his name. He always in my memory. 🙏🙏🙏

He was my eldest great Bhaiya. His name reflect his life style and personality. We all learn from him . I am going to miss him my next visit. 🙏🙏🙏

I have very fond memories of him from my school days in MuzaffarPur. He personified his name completely:
Shil: 1.नैतिक आचरण और व्यवहार। 2.मन की स्थायी वृत्ति, स्वभाव। 3.सद्वृत्ति।4.संकोची प्रकृति।
Bhadra: Gentle, Kindly, Noble, Obliging, Polite, Urbane, Affable, Virtuous, Benevolent, Fair spoken, Courteous, Debonair
I am amazed at this coincidence. To me was someone I looked up to during my school days and later. He had words of wisdom and anecdotes for any situation. Both my parents showered their affection on him and he gave back much more. He will always live in my memory.
